Oluwateniola Okoya, a Year 10 student of Corona Secondary School Agbara Wins PENGASSAN Essay Competition, Secures N1 million Prize

At Corona Secondary School Agbara, we continue to nurture excellence, and today, we proudly announce a remarkable achievement by one of our exceptional students, Oluwateniola Okoya.

After three stages of essay competition with 932 entries across all the states of the federation, Teniola has emerged as the winner in the Senior School (SS1/Year 10) category of the prestigious Petroleum & Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of 

Nigeria (PENGASSAN) National Essay Competition, securing a cash prize of N1,000,000 (One Million Naira).

The PENGASSAN National Essay Competition represents a motivating and socially responsible endeavor by PENGASSAN, aimed at fostering the growth of creative writing skills among secondary school students.

This victory is the result of her tenacity and hard work coupled with the support of her teachers and parents, as well as the enabling environment Corona Schools provides. Teni successfully navigated through three stages of rigorous essay writing and a Zoom session with esteemed judges, ultimately emerging as the deserving winner.
