Corona Schools' Trust Council Staff Day and Awards Ceremony: A Historic Celebration of Excellence!

On the 6th of January 2024, Corona Secondary School Agbara played host to a momentous occasion as the entire Corona Schools’ Trust Council family came together for the first physical Staff Day since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. This landmark event marked a joyous reunion and a celebration of the resilience and dedication demonstrated by our incredible members of staff.
The 2024 staff day was adorned with the theme “Transformation Through Reimagining, and Redesigning” reflecting our commitment to continuous improvement and innovation in the ever-evolving landscape of education.
Among the distinguished guests were notable members of the Governing Board, who graced the occasion with their presence. Among them were: Hon. Justice R.I.B Adebiyi – Chairman, Governing Board, Mr. Adebayo Adeyemi, Mrs. Ayopeju Njideaka, Dr. Alero Roberts, Mr. Niyi Yusuf, Mr. Adedotun Sulaiman and Mr. Deji Adeniyi.
Adding to the vibrancy of the event, each school location showcased its unique identity through colourful attire, creating a visually stunning celebration of diversity. The atmosphere was filled with joy, laughter, and a strong sense of pride in being part of the Corona Schools community.
The highlight of the day was the recognition of outstanding achievements through various awards such as; reach the bar examination top 10 winners, long service award, team of the year award, model teacher award amongst others. These individuals in each category were recognised and celebrated for their unwavering commitment and outstanding contributions.
The Staff Day and Awards Ceremony served not only as a moment of recognition but also as a platform to strengthen the bonds among staff members across various locations. It was a day of reflection, appreciation, and anticipation for the exciting journey ahead.
