This yearâs United Nations Day, themed âCultivating a Culture of Peace,â beautifully highlighted our dedication to fostering a compassionate, inclusive community. From vibrant cultural displays to thought-provoking discussions, the event guided students on an inspiring journey to explore how peace can be cultivated within us, our community, and our world.
The United Day opened with a captivating display of cultural performances, each telling a unique story of unity and resilience of different countries. Our students were dressed in different countries attire around the globe, showcased songs, dances, and dramas that celebrated peace across cultures. students delved into themes of conflict resolution and peaceful communication, such as basic greetings and songs in various languages, fostering respect and appreciation for diverse cultures.

United Nations Day at Corona School Lekki was more than a celebration. It was an immersive experience that reinforced our schoolâs values. With the theme of âCultivating a Culture of Peaceâ guiding us, our students, staff, and community walked away with a renewed commitment to embody peace in their everyday lives.
