Our affiliations with the British Council, Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA), Goethe Institut and many others explain our prowess and dedication to providing all-round excellence in the education of children.
At CSS Agbara, the only Nigerian school and one of the only two in West Africa, accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), we boast of world class facilities that provide an exceptional ambience for holistic development. With our cutting-edge teaching and learning technologies, top-tier sport facilities and state-of-the-art boarding facilities, our students are equipped with tools that engender hands-on experiences and enhance their critical thinking and analytical skills, placing them in a pole position to own their learning and tower above contemporaries in many facets of life.
Our academic framework is a fine blend of the Nigerian and British curricula, which stimulates a dynamic learning environment. This has not only earned our school the International School Award for outstanding development of the international dimension in the curriculum and the National History Award but has also resulted in our students setting the pace of excellence by topping the charts in many academic competitions, including the National Maritime Quiz Competition, the COBIS Mangahigh Maths Challenge, PENGASSAN National Essay Competition, AISEN Public Speaking Competition and many more.
Beyond academics, we hone sports, musical, culinary and other creative art talents and emphasize entrepreneurship, community service, and ethical leadership. No wonder our school consistently tops the medal table in AISEN Sports, Private Schools Games, All Rugby Schools and a host of other competitions. Our students engage in meaningful charity projects and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, teaching them the values of compassion and innovation and imbuing them with the requisite leadership skills.
We also take pride in our rich list of alumni, comprising reputable ladies and gentlemen, who have not only charted new frontiers, carving a niche for themselves in novel endeavours but are also captains of various industries, national and global policy makers. Indeed, we also ensure that our younger alumni and even current students are able to access and connect with their seniors in various fields, thereby sustaining a robust mentor-mentee relationship beyond our school walls. In the same vein, we also enjoy continuous patronage from our alumni, who are proud of our common heritage and are keen on having their children share in this heritage.
To you, our ever royalties – parents of Corona Secondary School Agbara who entrust us with the education of their jewels – we are proud to have this opportunity for decades.
