Public-Private Partnership: LASUBEB Visit Corona School Gbagada

A delegation of the LASUBEB Basic Education Quality Assurance department led by Honourable Owolabi Falana, a Permanent Board Member of SUBEB, visited Corona School Gbagada on the 23rd of January 2024 for more support in order to ameliorate some of the identified challenges in the State Public Primary Schools.
The visit which began with introductions and a briefing of the purpose of visit held at Corona School Gbagada during the 100-school visit exercise currently being conducted by the BEQA department.
The BEQA department acknowledged the role of private schools in Lagos State and acknowledged the brilliant performances of private school learners, which is aided by thorough supervision, monitoring, and quality assurance.
The delegation toured the classrooms and entire facility, witnessed some class sessions, and observed Years 1, 3 and 6 during some of their classes. They also acknowledged the top-notch status of the facility and environment and attested to the great work Corona Schools is doing.
The successful visit paves the way for more fruitful interactions between the public and private education sectors in Lagos state, as Corona Schools continues to blaze the trail in providing world-class education, which was duly acknowledged by the LASUBEB delegation.
Our special appreciation goes to the LASUBEB team and the entire Lagos State Ministry of Education for their continued support to improve teaching and learning for educators and learners alike.
