An Unforgettable Event

Corona @ 70 Alumni Black Tie Event

What a truly unforgettable evening at the Corona Schools Alumni Black Tie Event—a gathering that beautifully united several generations of excellence under one roof!
From alumni who attended Corona Schools as far back as the 1950s to our more recent graduates, it was heartwarming to see classmates reconnect and celebrate the institution that laid the foundation for their lifelong journeys.
This was no ordinary reunion. Instead, it was a rare and remarkable occasion—a nursery, primary, and secondary school reunion in one. The evening highlighted the exceptional quality of education Corona Schools has delivered for over 70 years.
We were especially honoured by the presence of distinguished alumni, including:
  • His Excellency, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, former Vice President of Nigeria
  • Mr. Olayemi Cardoso, Executive Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria
  • His Excellency, Mr. Donald Duke, former Governor of Cross River State
  • Mr. Tonye Cole, Co-Founder of Sahara Group
Their presence, alongside so many other accomplished alumni, reflected the enduring legacy of Corona Schools. The inspiring stories shared throughout the evening were a true testament to the character, leadership, and values first nurtured within our classrooms.
At Corona Schools’ Trust Council, we remain proud of the global impact of our alumni community. Their lives continue to affirm the strength of our educational philosophy and our unwavering commitment to raising world-class leaders.
Here’s to the legacy we uphold—and the future we continue to shape together.
