Aims:

  • To promote academic growth and development.
  • To promote positive inter-relationship among students and between partner schools/countries.
  • To expose learners to global dimensions on learning.

 

Activity Description:
1. INTRODUCTION: Students share forms with Adamas International School’s students to introduce themselves, understand the common subjects offered by both schools, share fun details like their hobbles, likes, career goals etc.

  1. PREPARATION: Students reached out through their ISA coordinators for exchange programme to facilitate learning. With a time, difference of 4 hours, 30 minutes, both schools fixed a mutually convenient time for education programme. Students set up Microsoft teams and other necessary ICT facilitates at both schools.
  2. EDUCATION EXCHANGE: From Corona Secondary School, Mr. Adeyemi Adeyinka taught Biology and Mr. Philips Nwobodo taught Mathematics. From our partner school-Adamas International Schools, India, Lia Das taught Biology and Mrs. Urmitta Dutta taught Mathematics. In the same vein, all classes and assessments were performed via Microsoft teams.

Outcomes

  1. Students had the privilege of learning from a wide range of teachers. This broadened their knowledge.
  2. Students were able to establish positive relationships which breaks international biases and it enable them to share ideas and opinions.
  3. Students were able to discover the world’s natural features with specific reference to India. These features include the study of life and mathematical equations.

Evaluation Evidence: Feedback from students, learning engagements.

Impact:
This activity improved students’ inter-cultural understanding, language, collaboration and communication skills. It also boosted inclusivity among our learners in becoming global citizens.

 

Follow-Up:

Students will keep in touch, share ideas and jointly participate in further exchange programmes involving other subjects.
