Students of CSS Agbara recently had the unique opportunity to meet with the Chief Judge of Lagos Hon. Justice Kareem Olanrewaju Alogba and Hon. Justice Awope, deepening their understanding of the Nigerian legal system. The visit began with an informative session where the students learned about the importance of ensuring free and fair judgments within the judiciary.
During their meeting, the students presented a heartfelt thank-you card to the Chief Judge, expressing gratitude for his commitment to child advocacy. They also had an interactive session where they asked questions about the judiciary’s role and how judicial records are being digitized to improve accessibility and efficiency.
The students left the meeting feeling enlightened and inspired, equipped with valuable knowledge about the workings of the judiciary and the reasoning behind various legal decisions. This visit ignited their interest in law but also emphasized the significance of a transparent and accountable judicial system.
