From April 14th to 17th, 2026, the city of Ibadan hosted the thrilling MTN Champs Season 4 Grand Finale, bringing together over 170 schools from across Nigeria for one of the nation’s biggest school athletics championships.

After weeks of intensive preparation and training, students from Corona Schools arrived ready to compete at the highest level — and they delivered a truly outstanding performance worthy of champions.

Competing against some of the best young athletes in the country, Corona Schools proudly secured an impressive total of 14 medals:

• 4 Gold Medals
• 2 Silver Medals
• 8 Bronze Medals

The victories did not stop there.

In recognition of their exceptional performance, consistency, and team spirit throughout the competition, Corona Secondary School Agbara emerged as the Best Overall School and proudly lifted the prestigious U17 Trophy. The school was also awarded a ₦2,000,000 grant in celebration of its remarkable achievement.

Behind every successful athlete is a strong support system, and this victory was made even more special by the unwavering encouragement from parents and supporters.
