CORONA SCHOOLS AGBARA 2023 GRADUATION CEREMONY:
A Stellar Showcase of Excellence
Corona Secondary School Agbara recently held its highly anticipated Graduation Ceremony on Saturday, 1st July, 2023. The event, with the theme “Stars: Epitome of Excellence,” took place at the prestigious Corona Secondary School in Agbara, Nigeria, commencing at 10 am.
Hon. Justice R.I.B Adebiyi, the esteemed Chairman of Corona Schools’ Trust Council, graced the occasion as the Chairman and Special Guest of Honour. Joining her was Mr. Adebola Williams, Co-Founder of RED Africa, who delivered an inspiring keynote address as the Guest Speaker. The occasion was also graced by distinguished members of the Corona Schools’ Trust Council, Heads of Schools, our lovely parents, alumni, and well-wishers.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome address from the esteemed Principal, Dr. Chinedum Oluwadamilola. The school orchestra and choir also captivated the audience with their performances, setting the tone for the rest of the event.
The Head Girl, Osemegbe Otaigbe, and Head Boy, Ikenna Onyebuchi, gave remarkable speeches where they shared their memorable experiences and imparted words of wisdom to their peers. This was followed by the Valedictorian, Oyindoubra Akika, who delivered an outstanding remark, expressing her gratitude and reflecting on the journey of the graduating class.
The ceremony also included the presentation of awards and endowments, recognizing the notable achievements of deserving students throughout their academic journey. The occasion also featured the appointment and swearing in of new school prefects for the 2023/2024 session, symbolizing the school’s dedication to raising generations of leaders with integrity and excellence.
To commemorate their time at Corona Secondary School Agbara, the graduating students performed a heartfelt class song, evoking nostalgia, and unity among their peers. Additionally, special awards and endowments were presented to deserving individuals for their academic excellence and exceptional contributions to the school community.
Notably, the top three positions were announced, with Oyindoubra Akika securing the prestigious Valedictorian spot, followed by Temiloluwa Adigun as the Salutatorian and Mardiat-Iman Ibrahim-Imam achieving the esteemed Class Rank.
