Corona School Victoria Island

Corona School VI - Beyond Today, Into Tomorrow

The graduating class of 2025 lit up the hall with radiant smiles and vibrant colors as they walked in for the very last time, not just as students of Corona School, Victoria Island, but as cherished members of a community that had helped shape their earliest years.

The graduation ceremony with the theme” PLATINUM EXCELLENCE, A PROMISING FUTURE” was a heartwarming celebration filled with laughter, hugs, and memories. From those who started their journey as babies in the crèche, playschool, or nursery, to those who joined along the way, it was a beautiful moment of reflection, revisiting the very first steps that led to this proud day.

The event began with a symbolic ribbon-cutting of the newly renovated school hall, a legacy project gifted by the graduating class of 2025 and their parents. A warm welcome address from the Head of School, Mrs Shogaolu, inspiring farewell speeches by the outgoing Head Boy and Head Girl, a joyful award ceremony, and captivating performances in song and dance by the graduating class followed this.

One of the most touching moments came as proud parents shared heartfelt testimonies, expressing gratitude and pride. But the highlight of the day was when the graduating pupils took to the stage to sing the school song one final time as students, before being officially inducted into the Corona Schools Alumni family.

It was a day of joy, gratitude, and celebration, one that will be remembered fondly for years to come.
