Corona School Ikoyi - Class of 2025 Graduation

The Class of 2025 Graduation was a day of joy, pride, and history for Corona School Ikoyi. Not only did we celebrate our pupils’ achievements, but we also shared in the 70th Anniversary of the Corona Schools’ Trust Council — a truly memorable milestone.

The ceremony opened with warm words from our Head of School, Mrs. Olorunishola, followed by a lively prize-giving that recognised excellence in academics and character. Our Head Boy, Chinua Okafor, and Head Girl, Danielle Ekhaifo, moved the audience with speeches filled with gratitude to teachers and parents.

The guest speaker, Mrs. Tonya Lawani, CEO of Sealgroup Company, inspired the children with her message to go boldly, lead wisely, and never stop learning.

A highlight of the day was the unveiling of the Class of 2025 legacy project — a solar-powered installation for the new school building, a gift that reflects responsibility and sustainability. Mrs. Olorunishola also presented leadership awards to outstanding parents and recognised our nannies for the love and care they show the children every day.

The proudest moment came when Danielle Ekhaifo was named Valedictorian, having shone brightly from Year 1 through Year 6. The graduates sealed their journey with a touching song, the Alumni Oath, and the school anthem — a moment that brought many to tears.

The day closed with cake cutting, group photos, and a heartfelt vote of thanks from Deputy Head Mrs. Nwagboso, leaving behind memories of love, gratitude, and celebration in this historic year of Corona excellence.

The Class of 2025 walks away with more than certificates — they carry friendships, values, and the promise of a bright future.
