Celebrating our Class 6 Graduates at Corona School Lekki
Thursday, 17th July 2025, will forever remain a memorable day in our lives as our Class 6 pupils stepped into a new chapter of their academic journey. The graduation ceremony, themed “Platinum Excellence – A Promising Future”, was beautifully tied into our school’s 70th anniversary celebration, marking seven decades of excellence and growth.
The ceremony commenced with a heartfelt welcome by the Head of School, Mrs Grace Omo-Egbekuse, who expressed pride in the graduands’ hard work, resilience, and growth over the past years.
Our esteemed guest speaker, Mrs Folashade Adefisayo, Fmr Hon. Commissioner for Education, Lagos State, delivered an uplifting address to the graduands, encouraging them to embrace the bright and promising future that lies ahead.
We were honoured to have distinguished guests in attendance: CDSS Principal, Mr Amoo, along with distinguished Executive Members of Corona Schools’ Trust Council, dedicated staff, and supportive parents and family, who all came to share in this special milestone.
The audience was delighted by performances from our talented pupils in Saxophone Solo, Orchestra Presentation, Clarinet Presentation, Piano Solo, Ballet, a heartwarming choir rendition and a lively dance number that showcased their diverse skills and creativity.
The valedictorian’s speech was another shining moment, filled with gratitude, reflection, and hope for the future, leaving the audience inspired. Awards and certificates were also presented to the pupils, recognising their hard work, growth, and accomplishments.
A key highlight of the day was the unveiling of the 2025 Legacy Projects, a proud moment that symbolised both the achievements of today and the vision for tomorrow.
The ceremony closed with a heartfelt remark from the Deputy Head of School, Mrs Adejoke Oaikhena, after which the graduands gathered to cut their cake, a symbol of their shared joy and success.
It was truly a day of promise and celebration. As our Class 6 pupils move forward, we are confident they will continue to shine with the essence of Platinum Excellence.
