Mrs. Amelia Dafeta Bows out after 28 Years.
We announce the retirement of our Director of Education, Mrs. Amelia Dafeta, after 28 years of meritorious service with the Trust Council. Mrs. Dafeta served Corona Schools Trust Council as a Class Teacher between 1985 and 1990 in Corona School, Gbagada.
She resigned from her appointment with the Trust Council in 1990 following her family relocation to Kwara State and was reabsorbed into the Corona School, Apapa in February 1999.
Since 1999, Mrs. Dafeta worked in various capacities within Corona which include Class/English Teacher, Sectional Head, Deputy Head, Curriculum Review/Implementation Team, and an IPC leader.
In July 2007, Mrs. Dafeta was appointed Head of School, Corona School, Ikoyi. She became the Director of Education of Corona Schools’ Trust Council in August 2017, a position she held till December 2021. She was a valuable resource person to the Trust Council and a firm believer in the Corona vision and actively promoted the same.

Mrs. Adetokunbo Matilukuro appointed as the new Director of Education.
She is an educator with 24 years of experience. She joined Corona Schools’ Trust Council as a Class Teacher in November 1997 in Corona School, Apapa. She has worked in various capacities in different locations across the Trust Council. Prior to her appointment as the Director of Education, she was the Head of School, Corona School Lekki from September 2014 till date.
Mrs. Grace Omo-Egbekuse appointed as the Head of School, Corona School Lekki .
