The Corona Schools’ Trust Council recently hosted an exhilarating Interschool Quiz that brought together students from all Corona Primary Schools. The event was marked by intellectual prowess and spirited competition. 

Commencing with a warm welcome note, the Director of Education, Mrs. Matilukuro Adetokunbo set the tone for an exciting day of sportsmanship. Following her welcome, the CEO, Mrs. Adeyoyin Adesina, delivered an inspiring speech, and emphasised the importance of fostering a culture of learning and collaboration among students. 

The participating schools were introduced amidst cheers and applause, creating an electric atmosphere that resonated with the spirit of healthy competition. Likewise, the quiz officials and esteemed judges were introduced, ensuring a fair and transparent evaluation process. 

The students participated in various quiz sections and competitions which included; English Language, Music, Mathematics, Science, Mixed basket, Minecraft and more. 

Outstanding achievements in academics were celebrated through the Unified Examination Awards, recognizing excellence in various subjects. 

Expressing gratitude on behalf of all participants, the Head Boy and Head Girl of Corona School Victoria Island thanked the organizers, participants, parents and the audience for making the event a success. 

The highlight of the event was the announcement of results. Corona School Lekki, Corona School Victoria Island, and Corona School Ikoyi emerged as overall winners in the non-academic category, academic category, and Minecraft category respectively. 

The Interschool Quiz is a celebration of knowledge, teamwork, and the vibrant spirit of the Corona Schools’ Trust Council.
