I feel very honoured to welcome you to our school. By popular demand, Corona School Victoria Island is just the cutting edge. Through the years I have spent in Corona School Victoria Island, the question of what makes Corona School Victoria Island outstanding has been paramount in the minds of parents either envisioning Corona School Victoria Island as a school of choice, or that of existing parents.
Currently as the Head of School, my position on this has become deeply entrenched in my mind – Excellence. Corona School Victoria Island has over the years made a name for itselt by honouring the threshold of excellence – in academics, sports, competitions and most of all in relationships. Our commitment to outstanding success in the core areas of development has made us the most sought after school of all Corona Schools worldwide.
Corona School Victoria Island is a happy school; hence, the slogan “the friendly school” – this shows the relationship excellence that exists among staff, parents and especially pupils of Corona School Victoria Island. We are a school that thrives on respecting individual differences and harnessing strengths for the forward movement of the organisation; I believe that my job is constituted of training my pupils to inculcate values and experiences that will be useful for their future in any part of the world and the universe at large. This has been my sole responsibility and also that of my team; the depth of the successes that we have recorded lies in the passion and will of the Corona School Victoria Island team to reach our pupils in meaningful and lasting ways. Without question, we have earned the right to equate ourselves with ivy leagues schools of the world; by providing the kind of educational experience that our pupils will never forget, through the use of an enriched curriculum that exists among the Corona Schools.
I am passionate about the needs of your children; and that’s why the Corona School Victoria Island family seeks to prepare young people who will influence our dynamic world beyond the 21st century. Our parents are given full value for the investment they are making, because there is no greater service than fully utilised human potential. As one of the best independent schools for boys and girls aged 3 to 11 years, located in the beautiful and serene part of Victoria Island, in the South West of Lagos – in a bid to help our pupils experience an all-encompassing curriculum; we give to them a right to experience a rich, engaging and forward-looking school life.

Head of School
Mrs. Funmilola Olorunnishola is a seasoned School Administrator with over fifteen years of hands-on experience in education. She holds a B.Ed. from University of Ibadan, M.Ed. from University of Lagos and Postgraduate Certificate in Education (International) PGCEI from University of Nottingham UK. Mrs. Olorunnishola joined Corona Schools’ Trust in 2002 as a Class Teacher.
Mrs Nnenna Nwagboso

Mrs. Nnenna Nwagboso, Deputy Head, Corona School, Victoria Island holds a B.A (English/Linguistics) from University of Jos, PGDE(University of Calabar). She joined Corona Schools’ Trust as a Class Teacher in 2003.
Mrs. Olaitan Shogaolu
Mrs. Olaitan Shogaolu, Nursery Head, Corona School, Victoria Island, holds a Bachelor Degree in Chemistry Education from the University of Lagos, Postgraduate Certificate in Education(International) PGCEI from University of Nottingham UK and an Early Childhood Montessori Diploma. Mrs. Shogaolu started her journey with Corona Schools’ Trust in 1997 as an Assistant Teacher.
Mrs. Titi Adegbie
Mrs. Titi Adegbie, Sectional Head, Corona School, Victoria Island, holds a Bachelor degree in Geography Education and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (International) PGCEI from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria and University of Nottingham UK respectively. Mrs Adegbie joined Corona Schools’ Trust as a Class Teacher in 1997.
