Welcome to Corona School Lekki. We hope that as you join us, you will get to feel our family ethos and also get to understand our vision and the values we uphold.
Like all schools, we have our own unique identity and we believe that at Corona School Lekki, we have created a friendly, caring and supportive environment that encourages our pupils to fully learn and develop.
All our pupils are encouraged to aim for excellence and to fulfill their individual potential – academically, socially and personally. We want them to become successful, confident and caring adults who will be able to play an active part in society where adaptability, enterprise and consideration for others are becoming increasingly important.
Our strong commitment to excellence is intended to ensure that all pupils, regardless of their ability, aptitude or background, can fulfill their potential. Traditional values of self-discipline, politeness, responsibility, kindness and sensitivity to the needs of others underpin the school ethos; we take great pride in the warm personal relationships which exist and the involvement of all pupils in some form of community or charitable service at one point in time or the other.
Why choose us ?
Corona School, Lekki was established in 2008 and for five years (2008 to 2013), it operated from two temporary campuses, one at Agungi and the other at Idado.
The school finally moved to the permanent site, Block 35, Abijo G.R.A Phase 2, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos, on Monday, 23 September 2013.
What makes us outstanding is our brand. Over the years, this unique selling point has put us above our contemporaries. We have been acknowledged for delivering quality education to our pupils while maintaining a long standing culture and quality service delivery.
Our curriculum is unique to the Corona Schools as it is a rich blend of the Nigerian curriculum and other major curriculums in the world. It is robust and relevant to the real world, reflecting the knowledge and skills that pupils need to compete successfully as global citizens.
Traditional values of self-discipline, politeness, responsibility and sensitivity to the needs of others underpin the school ethos; we take great pride in the warm personal relationships which exist and the involvement of all pupils in some form of community or charitable service at one point in time or the other.
It is worthy to note that the contributions and achievements of all pupils in many ways are recognized and valued. Our pupils, through the Pupils’ Representative Council, are involved in decisions regarding rewards, as well as other areas of school life. Through such discussion and participation, they are encouraged to develop respect for others and understand their responsibilities. It is also noteworthy to mention that the school has espoused the principles of leadership as found in The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People and The Leader in Me thus making us a Leadership Driven School.
